Background – Future X Academy

Beginning of the journey

Mahatma Gandhi’s vision on education-“Basic Education For All”. we realised that being an educated individual we should think of uplifting the underprivileged section of society through the means of providing ‘Free Education’ to the children of lower strata of society or else our educational venture will be remained as a mere Buisness but not a ‘Service’.

With a motto ‘The Future Starts Today’, . we started our Educational Charitable Trust on 1st July,2016 with a handful of 10 nearby slam children Forming a board of directors consisting 3 member under the Indian Trust Act,1882

Future-X Academy had taken an initiative to help the underprivileged section of society by creating an NGO with FutureX’s own team. The NGO was founded on 1^st July 2016. Future-X Team recruited 10 students from the local slum area with the idea in mind to provide them with education in an English medium at par with the private school studies, for free of cost. All the necessary items starting from bag, books, uniform,pencil, stationery and tiffin were provided for their ease.

The classes ranged from Playgroup to 4^th standard. Every student took part in some kind of activities. The students celebrates Saraswati Puja, Children’s day, Holi , Durga Puja and Annual Sports supervised by our skilled teachers. To keep up their jovial spirit we gift them with stationery and toys.

We enrolled ten new students every year. Hence, the student count of 10 in the year of 2016 was increased to 20 in the next year and currently it stands at 30.

Now & Then

2016 JULY

FutureX Academy Trust started a journey during JULY 2016 to provide free education to the needy children of the struggling parents. This provided not only education but a better future. We enrolled over 10 students to take care of their elementary education in English medium. Not only we provided education free but also supplied all books including school uniform. This new wave of supporting and encouraging the parents who never had thought to send their kids to schools, sent an enormous awareness in the nearby areas for parents to think and consult us on the importance of the elementary education and the benefits of a formal education.

2017-18

We kept the quality of education up as always. We have added a TV in the school premise in Bangur to provide the kids audio-visual educations that include videos and music. We networked with bigger schools to absorb our outgoing students to accept them as future students for higher classes. This worked out so well more than 15 students have been accepted in bigger schools for middle Schools. We also had a sports event to bring awareness to parents and students on health and how it impacts to the mental growth of the kids and intelligence. The annual sports event was immensely successful and been welcomed by parents. In the year of 2018, we had our Annual Programme with the students of NGO and in 2019 we had our sports event on a ground in Mall Road. Futurex had also arranged a sports event on a ground in Subhashnagar to give kids an opportunity to participate and understand more about the necessity of staying fit and how it keeps our overall health including brain. Futurex also observes national holidays explain kids the importance of it and sharing them the historic reason of the day .

2018 -19

In this session we had a sports event by Future-X Academy Trust where we presented all the students flower plant to make the kids about the save green and also to create awareness for the global warming . We delivered a speech about emphasizing our responsibility on protecting The Mother Earth by not only the kids but the parents also. With continuously adding more students , we brought a huge awareness in the society that our prospective student counts were overwhelmingly high . We had to screen the students based on the earning and needy students only. Being a small capacity education institution, we had no option than refusing the extra students. Being experienced and knowledgeable in educating the needy kids we want to continue with this initiative in delivering the needy kids a bright future . We moved the Bangur school to our Mall Road preschool to have better and concentrated education with our larger number of staffs for better education. At present with a capacity of 2 trained teachers and 2 non-teaching staffs are providing free education to 31 underprivileged children. On behalf of the trust, we are actively working on an initiative to teach Abacus to the children residing inside Dum Dum Central Jail either servicing as a prisoner himself or as a child of a female prisoner. We are trying to get the approval process to be first NGO to be permitted to do this unique gift to the kids in the jail.

2020-2021

It was a challenging time for the whole world, as we faced a pandemic that threatened our survival. The COVID-19 outbreak led to a situation where education had to be stopped for all children, and we were worried about how our students at Future-X Academy Trust would continue their education, especially as many of them did not have access to smartphones.
However, our team of dedicated staff at Future-X Academy Trust worked tirelessly to find a solution to this problem. We arranged for smart phones to be provided to our students so that they could continue their online studies from home. We also provided them with all the necessary resources they needed to study, such as study materials, books, and uniforms.
We understood that it was important to keep our students connected to the school and encourage them to continue learning despite the challenges they faced. We organized in-house programs to engage with our students, and we also encouraged them to connect with us through social media and other digital platforms.
Despite the difficulties caused by the pandemic, we were determined to make sure that our students received the best education and support possible. We know that every child is important and that they deserve the opportunity to succeed, no matter what challenges they face.
At Future-X Academy Trust, we believe that education is essential to building a better future, and we are committed to providing our students with the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed in life. Our dedication to our students and their education has never wavered, even in the face of a global pandemic.

2022-2023

Future-X Academy has faced its share of challenges in the past, but the school has never wavered in its commitment to providing quality education to its students. In 2019 the school faced a major challenge when one of its trustees passed away so in 2022 we have to form ynew trustee board. However, the school was determined to move forward and form a new trustee board to continue its mission.
In addition to this, Future-X Academy also received 80G certification in 2020, which was a significant achievement for the school. This certification allows donors to claim tax deductions for their contributions to the school, which can help to raise more funds for its programs and initiatives.
One of the most exciting developments for Future-X Academy in 2022-23 was the purchase of 80 decimal land for the construction of a new school building. This purchase was made possible through the contributions of the school's dedicated team, who recognized the urgent need to address the limited class and space issues that were affecting the students.
The new school building will allow Future-X Academy to expand its facilities and offer more opportunities for its students. It will also help the school to realize its vision of providing quality English medium education to its students, which has always been a priority.
Future-X Academy is an esteemed educational institution that believes in promoting holistic development and creating responsible citizens of the future. In keeping with this philosophy, the academy has organized an annual sports event on 7th January 2023.
This year, the academy has taken an additional initiative to raise awareness about the importance of saving water. As the world faces an impending threat due to the wastage of water, it is imperative that we educate our future generations about the need to conserve this vital resource. The academy firmly believes that the values we instill in the present will shape the future of our planet.
Through this sports event, Future-X Academy aims to promote teamwork, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle among its students. At the same time, it seeks to impart valuable lessons about environmental sustainability and responsible citizenship.
We hope that this event will not only inspire our students but also encourage other institutions to take similar initiatives to promote the cause of environmental sustainability. We invite all students, teachers, and parents to join us on 7th January 2023 to celebrate sports and learn about the importance of saving water.
Overall, the year 2022-23 was a significant one for Future-X Academy, as the school continued to grow and evolve in the face of challenges. With its new trustee board, 80G certification, and land purchase for a new school building, the school is poised for even greater success in the years to come.
